Periphrasticality

16 December 2006 | Life

I’ve written in this blog for several years now without becoming famous.

Since I care not about creative exercise, and fame is clearly the only acceptable ends to my literary means, I’ve decided to move some of my syllables elsewhere in hopes to be boosted into the stratosphere with other such blogging greats. Blogging greats… know who you are: “mom who blogs about the toils of mothership (not a science fiction reference) and spousal alienation”, “teen who syndicates her all encompassing angst”, the “amateur political pundits”, and the mesmerizing discourse of the “bloggers blogger”. These people make a modest living off of blogging about bloggers. That just seems scorchingly attainable. Therefore, I have finally convinced several friends with equally inept skills in fluency to join me in the facinating world of collaborative blogging at Periphrasticality. The name was derived in pondering my own writing style which can easily be described as circumlocutory; roundabout. It is my hope that writing along side these fellow buffoons will not only keep our content constantly fresh, it will make me look exponentially better, thus catapulting me into blogging fame. Aka: the only reason I’m doing any of this.

No fretting dear readers, I will continue to syndicate any content I write at that hideous url here on BigBad.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I must go read some of the boorish dribble those other shitheads have spilled onto the virtual highway.
